Liberals and religion and Roman emperors

I have never yet met a single person who described him or herself boht as liberal and as religious, who rejected any part of the current liberal agenda and program because their religion conflicted with it.
Where liberalism and religion conflict, liberalism always triumphs over religion.

Because Liberalism IS a religion, a crypto-religion to be more precise, and its retroviral structure is designed to do precisely what it actually does: erase an older traditional faith and replace it with Hope And Change. The result is always Unitarianism in drag.

As I have often noted, the distance in time from Emperor Constantine’s granting of full religious freedom to Christians by the Edict of Milan in 313 and Emperor Theodosius’ imposition of Nicene Christianity as Rome’s sole permitted religion for all by the Edict of Thessalonica in 380 was only 67 years.

In our more fast-moving society, the distance between removing legal barriers for a “victim” or “marginalized” group and requiring that everyone worship them is far, far swifter.

But the religious drive is exactly the same.
